Armoury Steakhouse is proud to introduce the Japan Wagyu BIG CUT — a revolution in how Japanese Wagyu is experienced in Singapore. While most establishments, including traditional Japanese restaurants, serve Wagyu in thin, delicate slices or small portions, Armoury dared to go bigger. We are the first to bring the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Ribeye BIG CUT ($160/500g) to the masses, claiming our title as the undisputed Champion of the A5 Japan Wagyu BIG CUT.​

The Science of the Sear

We believe elite beef deserves mass. The BIG CUT is not just about volume; it is a technical requirement for the perfect steak. Our signature large format is engineered to achieve the perfect Sear-to-Center ratio. This specific thickness allows us to utilize our 225°C high-thermal-mass griddles to create the Armoury Crust—a deep, caramelized Maillard reaction—while preserving the buttery, melt-in-your-mouth integrity of the A5 Wagyu interior.

Pioneers of BIG CUT Trend

Our journey to the top began eight years ago with a mission to perfect the Armoury Black Angus Ribeye ($68/500g). We spent nearly a decade perfecting the Science of the Sear, stripping away the unnecessary "bone-tax" and fine-dining overhead to focus entirely on the craft. This evolution led us to our star attraction: the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Ribeye ($160/500g). By mastering the large-format execution typically reserved for fine-dining bone-in cuts, we have made the world’s finest beef an accessible everyday pleasure.

We are sincerely humbled to see the BIG CUT movement we pioneered for the masses now being embraced by steakhouses across Singapore. Seeing even our own 'BIG CUT' terminology adopted by others is, for us, the ultimate vindication of our mission. It serves as a proud reminder of our roots as pioneers—the ones who dared to move away from standard individual portions to create a new culture of sharing and celebration.

Prime & premium steak usually offered at extremely high price at fine dining restaurants should also be made available to the mass market. Our signature cuts are the Japan & Australia Wagyu Ribeye butchered to around 500 grams for for the optimum thickness. Our star attraction is the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Ribeye & A5 Kagoshima Wagyu Striploin, renowned for its exceptional marbling, tenderness, and rich flavor. We offer this premium cut at a highly affordable price of $160 - 170 per 500 grams good for 2 pax to share, making luxury accessible to all. For larger groups (3 onwards), we recommend the Australia Wagyu Tomahawk (1.5kg - 2.5kg).
